Probably never. These things that run on the MUGEN engine almost always contain licensed characters they don't have permission to use. So without being able to sell the game, most developers of MUGEN games have to rely on the desire to finish them, which happens to never happen. I spent over a year playing MUGEN with many different games and characters and no big release ever got finished. MUGEN is dying also now. The hype from a few years ago is over and mainly it's still hot in Brazil only.
I can see Chrono's silhouette in one of the sprites!!! omg...playable Chrono!!
hope the Demo comes out soon..with Link/Kos-Mos/Megaman/Cloud
damn...hurry T_T

Brazil?...weird...it's spanish(site) anyway..
yes...it won't be released with a price etc...so it dpeends on desire to finish the game...but there are tons of people with ambition...and I know quite a few finished Mugen Games... ^^''
like Guitly Gear Mugen and Capcom Mugen etc etc...there's too many Mugens...but this one is uniqe...all the others leaned towards the 'traditional fighting style' while this game doesn't.
it clearly shows dedication if someone comes up with a unique battle system..unlike the others...so I believe it will be finished
Looks pretty cool.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

The fighting games are easy to finish. What they do is rip all the sprites and backgrounds out of the original games and just work on hit detections and writing code. They're usually very off from the originals anyways, because everyone thinks they understand game balance better than the real developers and totally screw the balance of the game up. Making original sprites is time consuming as is original fighting engines, especially card based ones. MUGEN is also way past it's popularity point, so even a desire to finish is diminished because there's not much of an audience left. I wouldn't bank on this getting to a playable point ever. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and DC vs. Marvel never made it there and they were easier and probably less ambitious, and more mainsteam. But we can all hope. I'll give it a whirl if it ever finishes.
This looks and sounds like fun.
Boycotting the following:
1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.
2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.
3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.
4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games. If that were the case they'd own a PS3.
5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.
6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

did you even go to the site and read the stuff?..the game is done..all they have to do is add characters now..(still using old Mugen Music and old Mugen backgrounds though) they focused on the gameplay and characters..
they are having really periodical updates lately..and they are planning on releasing a demo soon..
I don't think you get it..but MUGEN will not be in the game's name..as game engines are not important to the consumer...the game is...the product...seriously...
get that through you skull..nobody CARES if it's using Mugen or an original engine...it works..looks funa dn cool it's a must have.. period
you don't like? too bad for you ^_~

I don't speak Spanish, so outside of three paragraphs, I can't read a thing.
I also don't know what having MUGEN in the name or not has to do with anything. I commented on the lack of ambition of people that work with the MUGEN engine, as did Kasz, and I commented on the lack of audience outside of countries like Brazil for MUGEN games. It's not like they can advertise it or sell it, but they can be sued for it by multiple parties at the drop of a hat for the characters they're using and the engine they're creating the game with. After seeing so many other easier to make MUGEN projects get shitcanned years ago when there was still demand, excuse me if I doubt this will ever get to a full release and will probably get shut down within weeks if it does ever come out.
You really have a stick up your ass about this game though don't you? I already commented that I would give it a shot if it ever saw release, so I'm obviously not against it happening. I'm just not hold my breath like you are.

meh...you do have a point....but I think they'll get to a demo...and these types of games..don't really get 'released' ^^''...
you can't buy them..they're freeware...and they can't get too popular...or else they'll get a cease and desist
