Forums - Microsoft - If Banjo ships with a free X mote similar to scene it...

Would it sell well? Would that make you buy an Xbox 360?

I own an XBox 360 and Microsoft has a huge mountain to climb in order to convince me to buy the bastardized version of Banjo-Kazooie they have developed ...

It wouldn't sell anymore than if it doesn't have an xmote.

And no.

I do not care what comes with Banjo, the game is going to be awesome. If a new controller enhances the gameplay, I am all for it.

I tend to side with Happy Squrriel on this (I have a 360), but let me ask you a something: doesn't it matter, to some degree, how:

1. The game actually plays (e.g. if it's the next coming of Mario Galaxy or something less than absolute AAA.)
2. How the proposed remote actually works with it.

Without either of those two bits of information, its' going to be very difficult for *anyone* to come up with a valid answer.

After all, if you dont' have a 360, you're basically asking them to fork over for the price of the game/remote plus the console to play it so it better be pretty damn good to justify that initial outlay.

I hope it uses the normal 360 controller. I really want the game though; it's looking like I will like it more than SMG.

no, even if it came with a X-mote I wouldent buy an Xbox 360.

From the looks for things everyone on VGchartz who doesn't own a 360 will never own one, and the ones who do...well they already do :)

...But VGchartz is in no way a representation of the target market.

(You'll mostly just get PS3 owners posting in here saying they won't get one to make a point, chuckles)
