I wish i worked for sony. I would kick some behinds and get the company moving! if i owned microsoft, i wud do one better, i wud just buy out sony :D that wud end all fanboy bashings etc i would merge the companies and rename it sonysoft. the next console i wud release would be called the xstation1080i.

The xstation1080i will be a 50inch plasma screen with a built 2 cell processors and windows 2015 as an OS with a trojan virus pre installed.

Then we can no longer spend endless hours of precious time wasted on irrelevant debates such as this. Sony and MS fanboys will come together in harmony and play games from one an-others consoles appreciating what each has missed out on. No longer will it matter whether the Xenon be more powerful or the Cell. Infact the Cell will be renamed to XenoCell. It will have 10 SPU's; 3from the 360 and 7 from the ps3. 'gears of war' will become 'gears of killzone' etc.

So are you guys still arguing about which is better?

Him defending Sony is not a problem, I believe each one is entitled to defending whatever they want. The big problem is his spin, unwillingness to admit to his mistakes and learn something from people who disagree with him and are more experienced in the subjects he talks the most about.

I don't think he works at Sony though.

NJ5 what you done? you got rid of him? In MikeB's defense though since he isn't here, may i just say. The posts above he made aren't so bad. At the end of the day majority of the posts that he has put up that i have come across where he has had to debate with you or someone else he has argued the facts that he knows hard and well and not backed down, just as many other 360 fanboys.

Facts in these forums don't mean much and they never will. People like MikeB and urself will always be here arguing back and forward putting spins on one thing or another.

Some of these things are better left untouched. Why not just all be honest with ourselves and put things simple then to fill up these walls with lines of jargon that mostly dont make sense.

All anyone needed to say is that the 360 and ps3 are great depending on what your preference is. they are both powerful but with great power comes great responsibility. the ps3 currently cant handle its great power and has only recently started to take responsibility for it, whilst the 360 may not be as powerful but it has proven to be more user friendly for devs and IP's etc and has reaped the rewards for this earlier on. But looking at sales facts (which is what counts most), they are pretty much on par and if anything the ps3 may now be picking up sales and making up for lost time trying to find out where it went wrong. end of discussion and no one has ben hurt :D

@Fei-Hung: No, his posts by themselves aren't so bad... But when he repeats the same wrong points over and over in the course of a year, it gets pretty tiring. I'm not even talking about the stuff like "the Cell's potential will give far better graphics than we see now", as those things are always subject to some degree of uncertainty. I don't have a problem with him saying the PS3 is technically above the 360 either. His spin is not the biggest problem either.

The biggest problems are his inaccurate statements about stuff he doesn't understand. Even worse is the fact that he never learns anything new from discussions. His statements about SPE's branch hints are the same as always, even though last time we had that argument I explained him very clearly why he's wrong. He'll go as far as denying basic facts about computation if he needs to.

He's just not a normal poster. I have been wrong about things many times... I learned and moved on, and don't repeat the same mistakes. I made stupid predictions, inaccurate statements, all that and I admit it (unlike him). But when I see someone saying wrong things about the stuff I work with every day, you bet I'll call them on it.

Why did you start this thread when your posts are all biaised? You're already sure that the Xenon is at least equal to the CELL. So, is that all about starting a troll thread?
