Oh please let it be Dead Rising Wii or #2 !!!

It won't be.

"The last bit of information concerns Dead Rising. Many fans of the game were enamored with the game since literally everything in the environment is capable of becoming a tool for destruction. Don’t get any quick ideas that the game will be coming to the Wii, however. Unlike Okami, there are no plans for a Dead Rising remake for the Wii (or any news on the game at all for that matter). Although, it is interesting to know that there would be no legal issues with releasing Dead Rising on a different platform, as Christian Svensson explained on the Capcom community forums."

Which is one of the reasons I think it'll be RE. If it's not Lost Planet or Dead Rising, what other next-gen games do they have?

Zak and Wiki?! No, that was denied...

:( !!! crap !!!

It's apparently called "Flock."

Here's the linkage:

Nice find! I'd like for alpha_dk to be right, but something tells me he's not. Still, this shouldn't be too hard, since Capcom's "next-gen" games are fairly limited. We have:

Lost Planet (not it, judging from the interview with Svennson)

Dead Rising (see above)

Zak and Wiki (Also denied by my arch-nemesis)

Street Fighter 4 (A Street Fighter spinoff, perhaps? Although I'm not seeing how the title fits in...)

Devil May Cry (Strong candidate)

Resident Evil (Ha! Although everything else fits, this would make me happy, so it ain't happening)

Okami (...)

Harvey Birdman (See above)

Any games I'm missing?

And not to toot my own horn here, but judging by how the number of secret games went from two to one after Mega Man 9, it looks like that was one of the games after all.

Dead Rising Wii: nope

REWii: Could be. But may not be a main title, more like a side-story, based from the direction the series is going.

I wouldn't like any of them for wii. But an original title. an original horror game with less focus on action

@noname I guess then there aren't going to be any wii games at E3 from capcom if you are right, since one of the games was announced to use Unreal 3 engine. Which the wii can't run.

If it's not Monster Hunter Tri then forget it, I've bought my last Capcom game unless it's something amazing.

I mean I was looking forward to a DMC Wii version and no go I got Zack and Wiki but nothing more. It better be good.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

Unless the engine was modified. But hey! Weren't you the one trying to convince me a few weeks earlier that the Wii's graphics card was stronger than most thought, and I was the skeptic?

Flock doesn't sound like a next gen favorite hope its a code name

Currently Playing: - Pokemon Sun - 3DS

3DS Friend Code: - 4339-3849-0940

Devil May Cry - "the fighting game"

(aka surprising take on a "next-gen" favourite...)

:)

I think it would match the RE4 engine use as well (I kid about the fighting game, but who knows...Konami did it!).

I don't think RE counts as a "next-gen favourite".

Flock also sounds a little Lost Planet-ish - but can they call it a "favourite"?

Well it may be possible, and somebody is already trying, but its not likely that this would be the game to show off Unreal engine 3 on the wii(if it turns out to work on it). The creators of this engine, Epic games, may be telling the truth or not when they say its too powerful for the wii. Also as far as I know the people who are trying to port it to the wii are far from done, and I doubt Capcom is making a game that uses the Unreal Engine 3 for the wii. Also while the wii is definately more powerful than most people think, I'm still skeptical about it running a new engine that pulled of graphics like Gears of War, Mass Effect, Lost Oddysey( I think), Unreal Tournament 3, etc. So chances are more likely that it isn't a wii game that they were refering to when they said it will be using unreal engine 3.
