News is a few days old but I thought it deserved a thread. 

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has details on Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection with online versus play! With the cost of 2800 Yen(1000 Yen if you already downloaded the old version of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection) you will be able to play online versus matches with people all over the world! Best of all, there is no charge for online play! There will also be an online leaderboard that keeps track of player rankings! Also added will be practice and survival modes! There is no official release date for the upgraded version of T5DR

I'm a huge fan of Tekken series and this pretty much means I'm going to need to get a PS3!  (see?  GAMES are what sell consoles!)

it should have been there from the start i would have bought it then on the ps store.. not to mention the fact that you have to pay extra for it... but with that being said i'll probably get it when it is finally added so i can test my skills out with lei wu long against you internet chumps...

by the way is this site gonna be able to track stuff bought on the ps store??? i can just imagine when warhawk comes out and the numbers are something like 99,000 everyone is gonna think its a failure ..... but for me personally ill probably get it on the ps store since i already own multiple bluetooth headsets... any input MODs???

Just wait for the 360 version and save yourself the cash.

you're obviously a troll.. i've been reading alot of your comments lately and all you do is bash sony... i dont know why they let you get away with it.... if i start bashing the wii i bet i'll get banned quick though...

-mind giving me a link for a 360 version of Tekken 5 DR online?  Last time I checked T5 DR online is PS3 ONLY.  T6 *may* come to 360 in the future but thats another story.

-The d-pad for 360 is garbage for fighting games.  I don't want to play Tekken with that.  Plus I'm a stick player and PS3 has a selection of joysticks.  Or I can use a USB convertor with my old PS1 joystick.

-Since T5 DR online is the prime reason why I want a PS3, I'm planning to pick up a used 20GB model.  I'm sure thats not that pricey compared to a 360 premium.

D-Pad on 360 definitely sucks...it'd probably be beneficial to hack that thing off and stick a gameboy d-pad or ANYTHING and it'd be better hehe.
