Also, anyone who didn't own a Gamecube...do you wish you did? Are you going to get a Wii and get Gamecube games? What are you going to do?

I almost bought a gamecube back in the day, but ended up not getting one because the library of games never reached that sweet spot, and because there was always a game in the PS2 queue to play. I was so close to picking one up after seeing a friend play RE4, but RE4 soon got ported to the PS2.

If I do end up getting a Wii down the road, I would definatly pick up a few GC games that I missed.

haha I loved my Xbox that generation but always looked at the gamecube. I did not buy it, but I will catch that up in a few weeks or months. I will buy one on ebay with the special Zelda edition so i can play Zelda Ocarina of time again.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I own more GC games than for any other system. I absolutely love it. Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Windwaker, RE:make, Resident Evil 4, Soul Calibur II, Pikmin, F-Zero GX and Viewtiful Joe are my favorite games for it, and all top games of the last generation.

I am going to pick up Pikmin 2 at some point, and maybe Tales of Symphonia eventually.

I love the controllers, especially the Wavebird, my only gripes with the system was the poor online support, no progressive scan on the PAL games, and no Dolby Digital (still not on Wii either, shame on you Nintendo!)

If you have a Wii, but never owned a gamecube, I suggest you pick up some of these games for cheap, along with a Wavebird (Ebay it, no longer in production).

I bought a GC at launch and I thought it was the best of the 3 systems at the time (ps2, xbox, gc). I sold the GC and bought the Wii, mainly for the bc and the Virtual Console. The Wii itself added a new experience because of the motion sensor controls. Buying a Wii was a no brainer for me.

  Tifa got MOVES!

yah for a system that didnt have as many games, I hardly noticed. =)

I completely agree. Those that missed out on Melee and Metroid Prime missed two of the best-designed games of the generation.

To be honest for me last gen I gave up on consoles and was a PC gamer :P but I picked up a Wii along with a bunch of major titles for GC so in the end I was satisfied

people were haters mayne gamecube was the shit and @ksv get pikmin 2 it improves on everything that was bad in pikmin and adds more also its my second favorite gamecube game

Eternal Darkness for the Win!!!

Yeah, I really enjoyed my GameCube. It really had some good games.
