i really liked the look of it I will most definitely be getting this

If perferring the PS3 over the 360 makes me a fanboy.. I guess I am guilty..

List of 360 Games I would like to have: Alan Wake

List of PS3 Games I would like to have: LBP, FFXIII(if it ever comes), R2(maybe)

List of Wii Games I would like to have: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (It's not an exclusive but it would be awesome)

I'm going to buy it as soon as I actually have some money (oh the woes of a poor uni student...)

Loved the demo

Am I the only one that hated the demo?

Loved the demo! But not a day-1 purchase for me.
Will buy it eventually (when it gets cheaper and I have time to play it).

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

I completely agree. I have to wait until Friday because I just checked my bank account. :[ lame.

Don't mention bank accounts around me. Its painful just thinking about it.

loved the demo and already got the game (europeans get something first for once, yay) - it's a bit of a shame, that the computer enemies even on the hardest difficulty (deity) aren't all that hard to beat imo, the best/closest games I had online

it's a very good starter drug to get addicted to the Civ games though (never played a Civ game before), I'm already looking forward to Civ5 (if it ever releases)

@ axum )

I got it for the PS3, as my profile could've told you aswell ;) .

It looks like a great game to introduce newcomers into the Civ series (which is a very good thing). I don't think Civ Revolution is quite as appealing to the hardcore Civvers, who have been playing the games on the PC for the last 15+ years. The big problem with the game is that there's not much replayability: there are a handful of extremely powerful strategies, and once you figure them out, the game is a cakewalk. It really would be nice to have a little more customization too - different sized maps, or the ability to choose the number of opponents.

With that said, I would definitely be getting the game if it were coming out on a platform I owned. (No 360, PS3, or DS here. And it's not the kind of game that's worth buying a new console.) Hopefully the American sales will be better than the European ones, which were pretty sad...
