I heard it was 4 and 5 that are mediocre. I just bought the first 2 and I'm starting to play through the first one( It is excellent so far). Haven't played the second one yet, but I heard good things about it.

The PS1 titles are going to be the hard part. :(

My list is growing though, I just remembered DDS1 and 2 so I added them myself. :)

I think there is a remake for the psp. Wild Arms XF?

I believe you are thinking of Alter Code F?

Nvm the game I was talking about is just a SRPG based off of the first game and according to reviews its mediocre.

Edit: Yeah I think you are right.

I just added Alter Code F for PS2. It is indeed a remake of Wild Arms 1.

Can't believe how many RPG's I have missed.

I know there are still plenty in the Shin Megami Tensei series as well I have missed.

What about Baten Kaitos serie for GC.

Is the combat in that game card based?

Not usually my cup of tea but I have read somewhere in which Rol and Soriku were saying good things about it.

It is card based but it is different. I liked the battle system in the game but I had a hard time finishing the game (the first one) it just seemed to drag towards the end.

Edit: damn I was late

If only I had been born later on... then I could appreciate all those SNES games for the first time.

Just looking at your avatar reminds me of the greatness I experienced while playing through LoZ LttP many moons ago. Jeez, talking about 12+ years going by in a flash.

Thanks a ton everyone. I have a 10 game list right now that should keep me occupied for quite a while.

Feel free to add more recommendations if you like.

I am off to some more P3FES. :)

I still recommend FFCC: RoF. It has alot of puzzles, and is a very good game. The story was ok, but nothing special. Also there are some pretty good multiplayer aspects. Much better than the GC game.

I'll probably give that a try.

I thought Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter was an interesting entry in the series. Check it out, if you've never played it.

If you like your RPGs old-school, you could try the Atelier Iris series. I also really enjoyed Growlanser Generations (but you should probably avoid Growlanser: Heritage of War).

Hmm, what else... Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, of course. I heard Devil Summoner was alright as well, but have not cracked it open as yet. Soul Nomad & The World Eaters also looks quite interesting, but again I have not found the time to play it.

EDIT:  Did you play Lunar Knights or Lufia: The Ruins of Lore?

Hates Nomura.

Tagged: GooseGaws - <--- Has better taste in games than you.

Well, being you have the console thing all taken care of, have you thought of playing RPG's on the device that is the king of RPG's... the PC?

If you have a crappy PC, you could go with Diablo 1 and 2, some old school Ultima, Wizardy, Might and Magic, Bards Tale, Baulders Gate, or any number of other RPG's.

I am playing Guild Wars at the moment. A cool online (but not MMO) RPG. The best RPG PVP If you ask me.

Anyway, the PC has a ton of RPG's, if you are interested in playing games on one.

I have actually completed every game in the BoF series other than BoF5. So that is a good option as well.

I just added Nocturne to my gamefly list.

I have also played Lunar Knights but wasn't crazy about it and in terms of Lufia, I have beaten both.

I also played all the old school Phantasy Star games as well.

I am ashamed I never got around to playing LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue. :(
