Is the combat in that game card based?

Not usually my cup of tea but I have read somewhere in which Rol and Soriku were saying good things about it.

It is card based but it is different. I liked the battle system in the game but I had a hard time finishing the game (the first one) it just seemed to drag towards the end.

 

 

If only I had been born later on... then I could appreciate all those SNES games for the first time.

Just looking at your avatar reminds me of the greatness I experienced while playing through LoZ LttP many moons ago. Jeez, talking about 12+ years going by in a flash.
