I remember this one, the best one

A couple of things that jump out on that one.

1. Wii has negative sales in 2011
2. PS3 has a remarkable jump in its 4th year, something that has never happened. Usually sales start to level off.
3. The total number of consoles sold this gen according to this graph are less than PS2 did last gen, even though the console sales base has always increased.

This graph and others like it are my favorites.

Why don't you use some logic and some math, instead of just guessing or wishing?

This is by far the worst prediction i have ever heard.  Sony will beat this in their Q3 this year alone.

Another bad prediction is the wii will outsell the entire Playstation family.

Ah, so he did. Back in May of 2007, when the PS3 was looking like it would limp out of existence due to continually abysmal and dropping sales (even the GBA was outselling it on a regular basis around that time). It was a bad call, but unlike most authentically pathetic predictions, it had some basis in reality. A flawed basis, to be certain, but a basis just the same.

That the Wii will sell 500 million consoles. Not going to happen.....maybe 175-200 million (which I personally doubt), but not 500 million. I like it and all...I even own one, but I'm not fanatic enough to think it will sell that many.

Good find, fazz. That may well be even more ludicrous than the iSuppli predictions. That will become even more hilarious around the end of August, when the Wii is over 30 million units sold...

It's great that in a thread of "pathetic predictions" you mention the Wii getting to a 100 million being among the crazy ones while your own sig shows you predicting the Wii having 30 million LTD sales at the end of this year.  Half the year is done and the Wii has 28.5.  Even if it has a monumental collapse below current PS2 levels it'll still far outsell 30 million with the holidays.
