Yeh it looks really nice. I'm glad they have finally addressed the host advantage as that was prolly the biggest problem with the multiplayer aside from glitches.

multiplayer isnt normally my thing but some of the new modes look cool.
Also I think 5 in A clan is enough.

ok I was about to say lol :) the graphics are similar (make sens it's the same game) but way sharper more detailed and better lighting effects... I almost asked you if you ever played the first one lol

What really has me intrigued is this line from the last page:

"Check back on July 14, the start of E3, when I'll be able to talk about the second portion of my day which was spent with a new mode for Gears 2. As fun as the competitive multiplayer was, this has the potential to be better."

What do you guys think it could be?  It seems to be multiplayer, but not 'competitive multiplayer'.  If they were talking about coop, I'd think they'd just say coop, so that's out.  Could it be a multiplayer mode where everyone works together against an unending onslaught of locust, putting those UE3 tweaks to gloriously epic use?????? I HOPE SO!!!!!!!one

that'd be a cool idea to implement a tech demo in a multi game mod.... maybe one of the demo we will get at E3, not an actuall GoW demo but a bunch of locust to kill non stop during days with your friends... imagine those crazy guys who never stop playing in cyber coffee in asia, taking turns to kill the herds around the clock llloooooolllllzzz

Im not sure what it'll be. After reading those 5 pages it's hard to think what else they have to say about the multiplayer. Should be interesting nonetheless.
