Forums - Gaming - A Link to the Past is so damn brilliant!

I'm playing it right now on a GBA rerelease. This game is just perfect! I'm so sucked in. I just rescued the second maiden and I'm trying to find a way back to the forest in the dark world. Just about everything in this game nails it. You'll be so damn confused about what to do, but just before you're ready to quit and check a walkthrough, it hits you what to do.

This will be the third Zelda game I'll have beaten after Ocarina and Adventures of Link. And so far I love it just as uch as the other two versions.

Zelda rules...

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

The only Zelda I haven't played yet

Interesting. So far the only Zelda games I've liked are Majora's Mask and Oracle of Seasons/Ages.

Glad you're enjoying it. Don't forget about WindWaker.

Totally agree with ya, Stof. Link to the Past is timeless! I beat it on the VC for my daughter a couple months back. I did character voices and everything. She loved watching, and I loved playing it again. The game is classic.

After Link to the Past will be either Phantom Hourglass or Twilight Princess, as I have both. However I may want to play Windwaker before Hourglass.

Would it be a big deal if I played windwaker and hourglass out of sequence? Or are they the two zelda games that actually really make sense as two games to play in the proper order.

I agree with ya. I also consider A Link to the Past to be one of the greatest games ever created! I usually do an annual run of the game, and I'm seriously surprising myself everytime. I just keep perfecting my 100% run every single time! o_o

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

This is probably the only Legend of Zelda game, that I played, that I haven't finished.

Nice... I thought you would have played it already (I mean you're an oldie jk :P) but heh...

It's really a great game and it's very balanced... A good difficulty level, many dungeons, places, secrets, stuff to collect, UPGRADES, much magic items... It's really not as confusing as the NES Zeldas but it is less linear than 3D ones. It is also the first Zelda to tell more about the History of Hyrule and the 3 Goddesses.

I really love it. It's also the first Zelda I played (not beat though). Anyways I won't say more but have fun completing it! ^_^

I don't think it really matters what order you play Zelda games in.  Hourglass before WindWaker would probbaly be fine....but many of the characters you see in Hourglass you met in Windwaker.
