i'm keeping my other games naturally and i dont know why (uncharted, mgs4, hs, genji, ironman, folklore)

the sad part is i'm still looking to buy ac and dmc4 and gta4 (well i already ownd dmc4 and gta4 but traded it for gh3 set...)

which is why i'm still undecided.

Stay with the ps3.

anyway Wii is much affordable, i think you can buy it in the future.

 with the gamecube controller you can play all past gamecube games that you should try out if you haven't played them.

among others.

Not to mention the wiiware and virtua console :) . They are having great games.

wait until after E3 and see whats up with both consoles. Youd be a fool if you make a decision before then. my 2¢

i can't believe you are thinking about swapping your ps3 for a wii

like i already said, new ps3 40gig more or less = new wii here.

A PS3 costs $150 more than a Wii, sound like a bad deal to me. Just find a friend whose got a Wii and borrow it, I think shortly you'll be glad you kept the PS3.

for some people Wii is the choice because it's more fun, but for god's sake, Wii graphics are good, Wii exclusives like Nintendo's games have graphics far better than Ps2, but graphics are not as good as the Ps3....
(a component cable and an hd tv will make it look better - here - )

also, for me, shooters is a great experience on Wii, where on Ps3 the gameplay is not as good...... (my opinion)

you can buy a 2gb sd card from ebay (very cheap) where you can store games you download, pictures, vidoes or .acc music files, also SSBB replay videos or cystomized stadiums and photos, so if you have a 2gd sd there's no store problem, it's just that in order to play games from sd you first need to copy them on Wii memory and then play them, but this can be done quite fast

Ps3 is more expensive and has blu-ray, so i would suggest not to trade it for a Wii, cause you are going to lose some money, if you could buy a Ps3, then you can buy Wii as well!!! (it's much cheaper)
also, there are people you find the Wii soooo fun (me) and people who prefer to sit and play... it depends what you prefer....

why are you thinking of downgrading???

If I where you I'd keep the PS3 and then upgrade your console set by adding a wii, no harm in covering your bases.
