I don't drink beer... but i live by the old principle

People should be able to do whatever they want, no matter how stupid what they want to do is.

You should add "at least if it doesn't hurt anyone other than themselves". Otherwise you are implying that for example sexual crimes are okay.

Well yeah.  Obviously if it doesn't hurt anyone other themselves.

So the drinking is fine.  The brawl over football while drunk though... not so much.

There is no hate against liquors.. This is a Beer thread...

I also love Liquor..

Maybe you should make a thread were you say:

ssj12: Beer drinkers may "graduate" to liquors

xD

That's because they want it to make it difficult for kids to buy Alchohol..  somebody thinks you don't LOOK like 21 they can ask for your ID proving that you are over 18.. 16 year old kids can't prove that..

At 18 you're an Adult in the EU with your own responsebilties and rights (paying tax etc) so they can't raise the legal age...Luckly in the Netherlands you can buy Alcohol when your 16+..

Yes to Radlermaß!

What's your preferred alcohol (if any)? Heuriger?

Das ist hier in Tirol auch nicht anders. Wenn du nicht trinkst oder nur wenig, bist du ein Spielverderber und bemitleidenswert.

I don't drink any alcohol.

I'm in the same camp as you are Rol. In most social settings, I rarely need the social lubricant to fit in and I simply dislike the taste.

I even went to a wine tasting party on Saturday where I regrettably tried some of the wines. 90% I thought taste terrible so people told me that they were an acquired taste? So I ask this question (and I certainly do not question the legitamacy of drinking, I certainly do not judge), why would I force myself to learn to like something I presently think tastes horrible? I sincerely do not understand why some do it - and I know some people do like/love the taste from the start, but many do not.
