I have no clue what will happen to ME2, but to say the enviornment is the same as it was for ME1 is kind of funny.

Some people just take this "war" too seriously. Talk about personal.

Nevertheless, lets wait till E3 for some NEWS about the game. Mass Effect was an awesome game indeed. I for one hope it is multi-platform.

Why wouldn't Mass Effect be multi platform?

Hopefully they will release PC version simultaneously with X360 version because PC version was much better.

I expect mass Effect 2 will appear next year on X360/PS3 and PC. Multi-platform = more sales. EA have bought Bioware and that means Mass effect could come to all three platforms PS3, 360 and PC.

ME2 is most certainly PC/360 according to what Bioware has stated to date. It could see a port down the road, but that is even in question.

There's very little chance of ME 2 or ME 3 being on the PS3. Microsoft has done everything possible to keep Mass Effect as a X360/PC exclusive, and I doubt that with 2m+ units sold that Bioware has a big reason to release ME2/3 on the PS3, as you'd have to also re-release ME1 on the PS3, which adds more cost to the equasion.

Now, BioWare/EA could release the ME triliogy once it's completed on the PS3 - maybe even 1 BR-DVD if they wanted to. But I doubt it'd be within ~6mo of the trilogy being completed on the 360.

Now, as for the PC, I think that since MS is publishing it, that they will try to do day-and-date for the PC side of things.

Again, just because EA bought Bioware doesn't mean they can throw out any written contract that they've made with Microsoft. EA could easily of published ME2 by themselves, but MS is doing it. If MS is publishing the PC version, why in the world would we expect everything else to change, to fit PS3 fanboy desires? Not every game is going to be on the PS3, deal with it.

exactly what I was about to post, on top of that if I recall ME 2 and 3 are suppose to use the character you built on the first one, so if you are missing the first opus, it willl be a nightmare to dev for the skill mechanics and the difficulty level, basically it would be 2 different games beside the environement and the story and still with the story you'd be missing all about what happened in the first one....

same reason I don't see the point to release just MGS 4 on XB if you don't do the entire main serie first....

Funny how all the people with XBL sigs are saying it's not coming to the PS3, when no one has a clue.

I really don't care, as regardless of where it goes, I will get the PC version, I just find it strange that people will state total guesses as fact.
