Forums - Nintendo - Tales of Symphonia, i never beat it, did i miss out?

I borrowed it from a friend and i loved it, from the Real time combat which was executed amazingly perfect, to the epic story ( so epic, it had two worlds!! ) I loved the game so much, it was awesome, i remembered, i put in 60+ hours, then i dropped it after a gamefaqs.com faq/walkthrough (do it this way in chronological order, i did it my way) pretty much told i played the game the WRONG way! I was extremely naive, and i regretted looking at gamefaqs.com, ruined a perfectly good experience. A couple of months later i decided to pick it up again and finish it, but sadly my gamecube died ( "NO DISC" error, *Sobs ) I was planning on picking up a Wii to play it, but my cousin, which before i gave her my broken gamecube as a gift ( Im mean ) and all the games ( including Tales ) to her, later sold everything for under 50$. Don't worry, i was also WTF at the time. Well i never got to watch the ending, was it epic, did i miss out? Also, for those that never played and own a Wii, pick up this game, really good!!

It's quite a while ago, but I think it depends where you left off.
Personally I like Disc one more than Disc 2, but the game as a whole is awesome. There are quite some cool moments in the last part of the game though. And it's no punishment to replay ToS, certainly not with the sequel coming.

So I say: replay and watch the end.

Sorilu can tell you more though, he finished the game 18 (!) times.

Edit: Damn that guy is fast

yes you did miss out!!! Now go back to it right now!! AND FINISH THE JOB!!!

I'm glad you used the word "only"...

@soriku
Gamefaqs is the DEVIL, i didn't know better, While i was reading through the article, i saw how i missed Alot of small stuff, like hidden weapons, off story, objects of value. I would if i still had it... You beat it 18 times???

@lemiux-rules66 I WANNA, send me the game and a gamecube

@Soriku yea your right, you can't strive for perfection on the first play through, shoulda just ignored it lol. Think it'll still be on the market ten years from now when i actually have money lol

ToS is awesome, Im playing through it now for the first time and its great. Im still in CD1 so I won't be beating it any time soon, especially with my schedule.

@Soriku, U sir are a monster! 15 times! JESUS. BTW love the sig lol

No, I mean it's actually impossible on the first playthrough due to...something I won't spoil :3

Wait, what? Why? I've beaten it like, 8 times. So, SPOIL IT FOR ME.
