Forums - Sony - Sony announces Aquanaut's Holiday...

Looks beautiful but I like to have well a game in my games. I think I need to switch to the 360. Seems to be the only console this gen who is casual gaming crap free.

Who am I kidding. I love my black monolith, but please Sony make some REAL games you won't beat the Wii with games looking at fish.

God of War III, Uncharted 2, and who knows what else (Team ICO anyone?) will be announced in 8 days.  Stop your bitching. :P

This is so not suited to the PS3 userbase. Looks very pretty though.

Of course, Sony shouldn't try to expand that userbase via new and more diverse software, right? >_>

Hmmm, do you really think anyone will buy a $400 machine for a diving game?

Of course Sony should try to expand the userbase, but the price is limiting that. Things that would work are more games like Ratchet and Clank, Singstar and Buzz, but even those are suffering because of the high price. The more casual - average PS2 owner is not yet on the system and Aquanauts is not going to bring that audience in. This is the perfect example of a game that needs a massive userbase.

At this moment the PS3 has the most hardcore userbase of all systems, they are willing to pay that amount and they are buying the "gamers games", not a diving sim.

I wonder if EGM will shun this game the way they did with Endless Ocean.

I want this. I hope it doesn't come to the US... I'd hate to have to tell people that I rebought the PS3 for a fish game.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Some bought it for 600$ without any game that they were interesting in then;..I don't think many just bought a console for one game but for some games.... This game could be a extra reason to get it..
