As a fellow American, I'm totally comfortable admitting we got our asses handed to us in the War of 1812. I mean, they burned down the White House and we don't have shit to show for it. It was a pathetic attempt of the U.S. to try to invade and conquer Canada. And we got owned hard.
By the end of the war, 1,600 British and 2,260 American soldiers had died. In addition, tens of thousands of slaves escaped to British lines because of their offer of freedom, or they just fled in the chaos of war. The British settled a few thousand of the newly freed Americans in Nova Scotia.
They killed more of our men with a smaller army, and even stole our slaves and freed them. They were a better military and better human beings. We were slave-owning sacks of shit invading Canada and losing. And you're bragging about this on the internet?
