How does the psp store all of these patches it gets? Mine has been patched over 15 times probably (with each update)

Anyway, how much further could sony patch it? What is the limit?



And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

I am not sure what you mean about the PSP store getting patched...

Its got a built in flash rom (You can actually see the files there and change\delete stuff if you have custom firmware) if you plug in the usb cable to your computer it gets displayed as a normal storage device...people often modify the game boot video and start up video with their own ones as they are just h264 video in a custom sony pmf container)

Its actually got 2 flash rom chips think there's about 20mb of it...this is where things like the skype feature go to...and the reason you can't use skype on the PSP fat is because there's less flash rom on it (i'm pretty sure about that, also there's less memory on the fat 32mb vs 64mb)

 He means the firmware updates that sony releases.

Its curently at version 4.01 and started at 1.50 in the US\Europe...

They aren't really "patches" as such, the updates don't "patch" bytes to update stuff...Think of it as a bios download for your computer...

You know the "update" function on the PSP? Well thats what he's talking about....where does all the updates go? Already just answered ^
