This has to be the toughest question you could have ever asked. Why did you have to do that? Now I have a headache. I will say it's a draw. If I think of it anymore my head will fry.

Sense snes was my first console and super mario world was first game so i say super mario world.

What??? the airship was hard, but it is beatable even without power-ups, hell once i did it with the frog suit (out of the water the frog suit is just annoying, try it in the airship, it increases the difficulty)...

Super Mario World for me. I didn't get to play SMB3 much until Super Mario All-Stars came out.

I wonder how much which game you played first influences your answer.

Speaking of SMB3 Power-ups i'm gonna talk a little about them.

Mushroom: Classic
Flower: Classic
Star: Classic, but less powerful than SMB1, SMB2 and SMW
Racoon: Really good, it was the predecessor to the cape, which is awesome.
Hammer: For me, the best power-up
Frog: If water level then good, if not then annoying.
Tanooki: A glorified Racooon, the statue was too much, and the use is almost zero.
Kuribo's shoe: Awesome, if only we could use it in a couple of more levels.

For me it didn't, i played Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros., SMB2J & SMB2USA, SMB3 and then SMW, and still i pick SMW over SMB3...

Super Mario World, it had one of the best Bowser battles EVER!!! I also love the Cape, the different attacks of the Koopalings (Ludwig Von Koopa was the best fight), and of course...... Yoshi! Super Mario Bros 3 is good too, but I prefer SMW.

I think it does influence your answer. I've played every Super mario bros. game in the order they were released (except for Subshine) and I think SMB3 is better than SMW.
