Forums - Microsoft - ZOMG!!! I think I just survived RROD

Mine RROD'd when I had it and some random guy on psn told me to squeeze the console together really hard and it fixed the RROD. So if your 360 ever breaks just squeeze it together in the middle and it fixes it.

If it happens to me, I'd rather just send it to MS and let them fix it than risking to break the console myself by squeezing it.

Maybe you had some wires not all the way plugged in, but if not you were lucky.

For some reason that made me laugh, how could that possibly help?

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

The same thing has happened to mine as well. I just turned it off and made sure all the wires were in. Turned it back on and it worked just fine.

Yes, you can stop the RROD.

You need an old priest and a young priest...

though it may sound wierd, all i can say is, why not? if its already rodded, why not give it a squeeze? who knows? got nothing to lose anyway, and if it doesnt work, just send it back to ms.
