Forums - Gaming - does every game get dropped down in average by unknown sites?

if they are not always the lowest then why is it that all the time a games average drops overtime?

Because the highest reviews always come out first. The late reviews tend to be middle of the pack. Above the lowest and below the highest and bring down the score to somewhere in the middle.

I would say it is a one time anamoly associated with the fact that the game was hyped to a level never before seen in the video game world.

Ever heard of Final Fantasy VII? Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time? Super Mario 64? Halo 3?

Reviews are opinionated and people should be entitled to them...

Besides, after a month how much of a traffic boost can be gained anyway?

the review that i mposted for MP3 was also around a month after its release

I meant the obscene boost in traffic. The MP3 review I agree with, so I wouldn't use that as an example while debating with me.

Gamerankings does have certain criteria that review sources have to meet in order to be included in the average, you know.

I've been to Gamespot forums...

Most of the time people say " We're on gamespot so we use those reviews..."
Althought there usually is a group present against that..

Question: How many video games have gotten their own version of Mountain Dew? Answer, 1. That game would be the one I said was hyped beyond anything we have seen before, and also happens to be the last one on your list.
