The team at Kojima Productions has at the very least set a new high-water mark for cinematic presentation that I wager any other videogame will be lucky to reach, let alone exceed, for the next few years.
Seriously, how can you give something an 8 after saying that.

 

No duh reviews are biased. It's a person giving their opinion on a game. Every review is biased.

 

 but alot of them are biased against a certain console

 Actually I think that is a really well written review. He explains all the good and the bad, and elequently describes all the problems I have with the game. The score is a little harsh compared to what is written, but that might just be their style.

thats not what happened when halo3 received a 7,the site crashed down cause its servers couldnt hold all the traffic

Average scores drop as the reviewers later on don't want to be as soft as they likely think others beforehand are.

Then sites who either refused or didnt even get invited to get early access actually BUY the game and play it without time constraints or a PR person looking over their shoulder telling them how awesome the game is and what they should do next and suddenly the REAL, HONEST and UNINFLUENCED oppinions come out and you call that a BAD thing?

 

are you sure,i think thats thecase with just a few games,usually alot of sites say they received there review copys,and while playing them in their offics they sometimes put videos up,previews etc

 

Ussually yes, not for a release like MGS4 or GTAIV though where the publishers do everything they can to control early reporting and reviews and where they invest millions to make sure not a single negative voice can be heard before release.

I haven't played it enough to comment, but if you read the review they rave about the gameplay and actually recommend the game, but are upset at the changes in atmosphere and design from the previous Prime games.  It's a fair comparison to make, I would say, and the review as a whole is a more useful gauge of the game than the score itself, as usual.

 i still think that if that was the case then MGS4 wouldnt have gotten all of the 8's it received
