I think the biggest deal at E3 this year  will be FF13. Unless the big N shows off a new Zelda even then the new Zelda would be so early in development we wouldn't get much more then a few clips.

 

I'm going with FF13.

Why, it was already announced. IF you mean biggest announced game then yes, but unannounced games steal the show.

Define "biggest game"?

Biggest selling game featured at E3? Doubtful. Most hype? Maybe, but doubtful. Biggest RPG? Sure.

I think you're right. Sony must be absolutely panicked by disappointing MGS4 sales and are likely pressuring Square Enix to at least make a trailer for E3. Little Big Planet will likely be a minor hit and of course Gran Turismo 5 will be but after that.. and with the upcoming 360 price cut... Sony is in the worst position of the three.

FF is only HUGE in Japan not so much in the west, I still think a new announcemnt will take the top spot.

FF13, but only if it's either a playable demo or gameplay footage. Cutscenes won't be a showstealer this time out.
Failing that:
I'm leaning towards God of War 3 or LBP for Sony, and either a new Zelda or Kid Icarus on the Nintendo side, and Fable 2 or Alan Wake on 360.

Wild cards as surprise 'winner' of the show would be one of those two unknown PS3 IP's(I'm pulling for Team ICO), Heavy Rain, or a new Wii peripheral.

Too hard to gauge what the media reaction will be. For me, personally, I'll say God of War 3.
