Briefly talk about the 3 big consoles what you like about them and why your favorite is your favorite.

I'll start:

Xbox 360:

What I like about it: The 360 is phat no doubt. A HUGE improvement over original Xbox imo. Lots of really hot games I don't need to mention. M$ did a great job getting games that used to be exclusive PS games as well. If there were no PS3 then I'd probly have a 360 right now.

Why I didn't get it: The time I was most tempted to buy a 360 was in 2006, but I had just bought a new PC. I wanted to see if I could get some good gaming out of the PC. It turned out to be a good move because a lot of 360 games went to the PC.

Wii:

What I like about it:

It's hard to find things to not like about the Wii. It's innovative fun and Nintendo makes some of the best games in the world.

Why I didn't get it (yet):

Having owned only Nintendo systems my entire life (NES, SNES, N64, GC). I felt it was time for a change. I already had the new Zelda on Gamecube etc. I knew that if I made Wii my primary system that I would be playing a lot of the same franchises that I had been playing for the past 2 decades. I'm gonna get a Wii but no way could it be my primary system.

PS3:

Honestly PS3 was looking like trash when it first came out. The games were horrible. But I got the PS3 for 2 reasons:

1. The built in Blurayplayer was perfect for my new HDTV.

2. I knew that eventually games like MGS4 and FF 13 would really kick ass. I'm glad that I was right about MGS4 now lets see about FF13.

How about you?

List the three consoles and your reasoning behind your choice. But be man enough to talk about the positives for ALL consoles.

Sony - I buy pretty much all Sony stuff, didn't really think about the purchase it was Sony so I bought it. I have a 60gb PS3 that I bought at out launch first day back in March 2007.

Xbox360 - Not sure why I own it really, except for the JRPGS coming out otherwise I play most of my "Xbox360" games on a PC. I think I got pissed off at Leo J so I bought it, otherwise I wouldn't own it.

Wii - Cool for a change, didn't get a gamecube and its a great way to make up for lost time. Fun games but lacked the third party library I wanted until RE-4, Boom blox and Okami came out. Also great to complete my collection.

Porn is nice and all, but I wouldn't call it my favourite console.

On topic:

I bought a ps3 because I never had a ps1 or ps2, with a huge library of games I have yet to experience, its the perfect buy for those that want to just go to playstation(60gb).

Wii

What I like- gives me another option for control and on some genres makes them a lot more interesting. Genres such as shooters, sports, and party games. Love the great library of Nintendo games and improving 3rd party titles. Because it's unique gets a lot of really good niche titles like Boom Blox and No More Heroes. I love VC and WiiWare.

What I don't Like- I don't like the online setup. All Nintendo had to do was have a single friends list(could have been FC if they wanted) and voice chat and they'd have a solid online. But they didn't. I hate the storage issue and wish that 3rd parties would put more effort into games that easily could be so revolutionary.

Xbox 360:

What I like- I like the great online setup and marketplace. Also love achievements. Gives me a good entertainment and media device other than the other things I have. I like it's strong selection of RPG's as well.

What I don't Like- well I don't like the unreliable hardware along with the lack of strong diversity in its lineup. I need more than just shooters and RPG's and whatnot. Needs to work on getting all genres.

PS3:

What I like- I like it's strong diversity of titles across all genres and all gamers. Truly has a good one. I also like it's download service along with it's setup. I also like that it has a blu-ray player. A risk that will pay off in the future.

What I don't Like- I don't like the management behind the console by some of the guys at Sony. They kinda got it off to a bad start because of it. I think the online setup needs some work and needs some work at helping devs tap into the system completely.

Console of Choice: Wii
Secondary Console: 360
Tertiary Console- PS3(don't own it so that's why, but my bro has one)

I prefer the PS3 because thats where my favourite games already are or are on there way to, 360 would be my second choice because it offers a great online experience but is held down by too many factors. the Wii i just don't get, i dont find it fun or innovative at all they basically just gave gamers the next best thing to having a mouse on a console and thats about it

it go so many RPGs now, but the good thing they are only time exclusives,

aside brawl there is no game that interested me, i am not a fan of the nutchuk, or the wiimote... whatever control lets me play the game i want i am happy.
zelda and mario galaxy for me are the same character over and over and thats probably why..i don't like nintendo games after owned nintendo 64

the only game of this generation i am eager to play, depending on where it ended first i would buy that console.

wii - one reason could be cause I'm a Nintendo fan , and I also wanted to try out the controls to check it out, they were great, I first played Wario ware smooth moves and it has everything to do with the wii mote!
