Forums - Gaming - How is Gamefly?

I have recently been looking into subscribing to gamefly. I was wondering if anyone that is currently subscribing to the service would give me some impressions and let me know if it is a worthy purchase. Thanks.

You should definitely register to gamefly. I recommend the 2-game plan because at first I tried to get one game at a time, but the wait was brutal. It's not fun waiting a whole week for your game to arrive (Two days to get to gamefly, two days to get to you, but if you're caught in a weekend...well more waiting). However, with the 2-game plan, you can beat the first game, and when you're done with it send it back and while you wait for the next one you can play the one you have at home.

If you were planning to rent two games at a time, then I'm sorry I just wasted your time XD

Anyway, Gamefly is great. Especially if you have a DS.

Add me for Pokemon, New Leaf, and Fire Emblem, Mario Kart 8.

I got my free Wii from Gamefly, so I love them hehe.

Unfortunately once Brightspot.tv shut down (you watched ads online and they'd knock off a max of $10 per month from Gamefly), I didn't really care to pay full price anymore, so I stopped using it. I never had any problems with service, but a couple of my friends have had a couple brand new releases not get shipped, and they got the second game on their queue instead...which is annoying.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
