I was wondering about the stature of this site relative to other game sites, so I typed in "video games" in Google.  Google ranks by popularity/relevance, so I just put a list for anyone who might be interested:

• IGN #10
• Gamespy #11
• Gamefaqs #32
• Gametrailers #49
• 1up # 68
• VGChartz #71   

Just food for thought.  How can we make the site more popular?  We already seem to be pissing off a lot of people (even though we're doing nothing wrong), I guess that's a testament to our success already. 

Oh, and when I searched "video game sales," VGChartz was #1.  :)

I mean this list is obviously flawed is gamespot is at 3, IGN at 10 and 1Up at 68.

Everyone can help making the site more popular! Ask fellow gamers to come here, report news, make cool threads, etc.

 #1 is the Wikipedia article on video games.  It might not be the BEST measure, but it's google and alot of people use it.  I wasn't trying to be scentific, just showing where we rank in the most popular search engine. 

Well, we ARE the number one authority on all things "I blame Wii Fit". lol
