But they have it´s not a fad only now it´s a karaoke machine, and since both MS and Sony are trying to get a Wii mote like controller for their consoles they are trying to get into the karaoke market.

Since they are aiming for karaoke market then VGC has to change it´s name since it´s tracking their sales. It should be called Karaoke charts.

I don't have lag when I play....but certain users I play against do.  I think it has a lot to do with certain users and the way they are connecting to the internet.  If you're using dial-up...or stealing someone's Wi-Fi from down the street...you're going to lag.

 

I actually haven't tried Mario Kart's online yet....and probably won't. 

 

OT...Did he just refer to the Wii demographic as "9 year old gamers?"  He sounds like atroll who calls Nintendo "kiddie."  Either he has the same intelligence as many of those trolls...or he is just buying their bs.

Does anyone else doubt that this guy is even a gamer.

He is neither a gamer or a karaoke user, if he was he would know the difference and not make a comparison like that.

Ok...so what was all this about 360/PS3 FUD?

Read it carefully, everyone. An article like this is made every single day about the Wii. So I don't want to hear any more complaining for 360 or PS3 owners who think they are the only ones that get the bad press.

Why wouldn't he do this? It paid off for Microsoft last generation, so it can't hurt to try it again.

LOL. He makes perfect sense. Hell, they have Wiis in retirement homes and on cruise ships. He is saying that there is this big pie that is up for grabs with the casuals and the desire for a motion controller and that is why they are looking into making one. They are catering to both the serious gamers and to the casuals such as retirees. Seems to make great business sense.

the "graduate" part is what i was talking about, changing fad to kareoke is new but its not exciting :)
