I've seen screenshots of Chrono Trigger Ds that look exactly the same as the SNES one.

I was excited for a CT re-make, but it's looking like it's a port with a couple of things patched in.

Anyone else feeling a bit underwhelmed by this? Or will you still buy it?

I won't buy it, but I'm happy for those who never got to play this gem the first time.

Well it is remade for DS with extra's like a new dungeon so it is remake I thought;.

We don't even know whether or not those screens came from the SNES version or the DS remake

Must buy! I sold my SNES cart, and Amazon never sent my PS1 disc. Hopefully the FMV from FF Chronicles will be included.

Actually I'm a bit worried that after we all go out and buy this Squaresoft will put an actual re-make on the market next year. Afterall FF1,2,4,5,6 + Chronotrigger were all ported to the PS1, then FF1,2,4,5,6 were all ported to the gba, FF1,2 were remade for the PSP and now Japan has a remake of FF4 for the DS. It seems like SQ is quite content porting and remaking all the old classics so long as we continue to throw piles of money at their feet.

I've never played it, so I'm lucky. 8D
