The Wii version has all the hype, it has the most content, excellent lightsaber controls, and Lego Star Wars also sold way more on the Wii.

Exactly

The Wii version will not get the attention the HD versions will tho because the HD versions have the New engines in them, Whereas the wii version is basically a PS2 port with Motion controls. this game is all about the force and the way the force is portrayed by using the new physics engines. Honestly I think the Wii version could get glossed over by a lot of Wii owners.

The Wii is already getting all the attention. IGN has already done two or three previews on the Wii version alone, x-play had an exlusive look at the multi-player in the Wii version. Lucasarts has even said that they are focusing the marketing on the Wii version. During the revel about the different platforms the Wii version took up almost half the video while the PS3/360 had a little blurb about the physics engine. (The PSP version even had more attention).

Sorry, but you sir, are misinformed.

I'll eat my left sock if the Wii doesn't sell the most. I even think the Wii version will outsell the PS3 + 360, but that it will sell the most is obvious to me.

I think it depends on reviews, if it (specifically the controls and the duel mode) are highly acclaimed by reviewers then the Wii will sell the most, if the reviews are ok then it could be close between Wii and 360, if the reviews are poor then 360 will sell the most.

I'm not sure about the game appeal to the wii users.

I think you're missing the real driving factor behind the hype on the Wii version.  Two words: Lightsaber duels.  Who hasn't thought about that at least once since the motion sensing Wiimote was revealed to the world?

Sigh. That's so 2007. Early 2007, at that.

I really think people are overestimating that this game will really sell at all on any platform.

 Yeah. When has Star Wars ever been popular?

Probably 360. Since Japan is a non-factor, it's more like a userbase of 22 million to one of 19 million.

Factor in the Wii's audience, and the 360 one will most likely sell the most. But I'll take the PS2 as a Black Horse though, as it has the biggest install base, but I'm not too sure that most people will want to play a last-gen version.

Why is japan a non-factor?

@kenny
Yes I understand people will be hyped about lightsaber duels, BUT this games was not designed to be a "Lightsaber Dueling game". The fact is they addded Wiimote functionality for the Wii as an afterthought. Which means yes you will get to use the Wiimote as a lightsaber, but sadly this isn't a sword fighting game, It's all about over the top Force. And to whoever it was that said I was missimformed? Believe me I have been following this game almost daily For almost two years now. I don't care whats getting attention now, what matters is in the fall. I can almost guarentee you LA will fail in using the Wiimote properly, as LA has dissapointed me time and time again in the pastt. The onlything worthwhile in this game will be the Physics engines and at last a story in an SW Viseo game the GL himnself contributed to. With a few rare exception SW games always dissapoint especially ones Heydan Blackman has anything to do with
