that's a good list of games and many people will buy a ps3 becuase of them.

I'm happy with the 360 though. (and Xbox Live is the best in my opinion).

I have bought my PS3 on June 12th, the day MGS 4 launched it is amazing, great game. I have passed it three times and MGO was a blast too. I just picked up UnCharted, GTA 4 and COD 4. Looking forward to the upcoming games.

Only drawback with the PS3 is it uses heaps of electricity. Well my folks foot the bill its sweet. I have heard PS3 uses 5 times more electricity than the other consoles. Not a big deal.

 Why would I spend $400 to get to play a bunjch of games I have no interest in? Doesn't seem like a smart move on my part.

The early ps3's used almost 200 watts , the early
Xbox360 around 180 watts,
the Wii uses 20 watts.
The new model you got is probably under 150 watts - leaving it running all day will use around 50 cents of electricity - at 2 cents per hour.

Yes, and the Wii has outsold the PS3 since its launch and that's a pretty important thing.

Wii is not a HD console. So it does not need to be mentioned.
