BenK ~

I'll admit I was very harsh in my responce to Blue, but I'm about 60% of the way to banning him for the fact he's like Washimul. I'd rather be harsh, and call him a name, rather than hit him with a ban that really doesn't teach him anything. This is my first and only time being harsh with him, but it just tires me that he is always so heavily pro-PS3 that he ends up being dumb about everything else. Just like the huge list of other pro-Sony people here we've banned.

Xyrax, we do benefit on MS trying to trounce out Sony. I (a 360 owner) get great PS2-like games, since MS is spending so much money to win the console wars - which is exactly the reason I bought my 360. When companies take big risks (see Wii's innovative controls, MS's huge far more diverse library, PS3s uber-long lifespan that's tentative and subject to change), we end up winning.

Last generation, no one really vied to shake the market up, because PS2 was dominating, and everyone knew it. But now we're thinking that 2 of the 3 systems are dropping their price before long, and they are actually giving a care (all of them) about how us, the consumer feels. That's something we haven't seen since maybe the Playstation 1.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Around the Network

Hardcore and Mainstream Markets will coexist. THough I don't think of it that way.

DS and PSP are coexisting, but DS is both for hardcore and Mainstream. I think PSP does well because it is pretty, Sony hasn't given up on it, and there are some good games.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
