NES got it in 1986.
Sega master system (and nes), for a short while. Megadrive was the first one which I played a lot. :)
Nes, in 1988. Video game basic training, and the foundation of many of today's greatest gaming franchises.

That is definitely true. Man. I'm surprised at how many of you got started with the NES. That's pretty impressive imo. (probably because I was barely even alive during the NES era...)
Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

sega...and my first game was mortal kombat 3-then ps 1-then ps 2-planning on buying ps3 xbox 360 wii psp
Playstation Vs Xbox
Sword Vs Gun
1986 with Mario bros and later duckhunt.
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing
(mostly)
And shepherds we shall be,
For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints
The NES. I played that thing alot when I was 4. 2 years later, I got an N64 with Mario 64 and absolutly LOVED it. I had rented SNES a few times and played Mario World, so seeing mario in a beautiful 3D world I could explore was amazing.
It's nice to see others with the Atari 2600. I remember playing Missle Command all the time with my dad.
