edit:On to topic, in all of the posts above I hope the Wii can sell with just Wii Sports alone even with MS and SONY copying Nintendo's strategy...

MS and Sony cannot successfully duplicate Nintendo's strategies for the Wii. It's too late for them to turn motion-control into anything more than an added, and likely, unpopular peripheral for their systems (Sony's stumblings in this category may actually end up hurting any future motion control schemes they try for the PS3 since the Sixaxis has apparently been wallowing in it's death throwes for a while). Both systems still cost quite a bit more than the Wii and both are still extremely heavily skewed to the hardcore gamer crowd. Both the Xbox360 and PS3 are still going to be seen as overly large and complicated compared to the simplicity promised with the Wii. If some Blue Ocean customer wants a Wii, they aren't suddenly going to switch gears to an Xbox360 or PS3 just because they have a casual game or a motion-based controller. There's really no way the PS3 or X360 could step in and steal away Wii customers at this point. All they'd end up doing is alienating the hardcore fans who supported the systems in the first place and that backlash could be damaging to them in the way the SegaCD and 32X only ended up hurting the Genesis/Mega Drive.
How many Xbox360 gamers really want to lose their top-notch X360 game pad to be replaced by a motion controller? How many PS3 fans will see whatever motion device they have only to be stricken with ugly flashbacks of Lair? The Wii is the only system where motion control works and is successful, and the Wii is the only system that will continue to successfully appeal to the Blue Ocean crowd. MS and Sony need to focus on what they do well, not try to do something else just because it's working for Nintendo.
