i really dont think there is one game that will do it, that theory of the one game savior has been debunked already

first there was halo for the 360...sure t boosted but in teh end it didn't change anything

then cam GTA $--once again it was supposed to be the one game system seller for the hd machines...and once again it was nothing more then a spurt

finally there came MGS4 and once again it was a blip on the radar and soon passed into the void.....

so one game wont make or break anything in this "war"

ERR... Wii Sports bundle was actually the one game you're talking about in your post, then SMG then SSBB then mario Kart Wii then Wii Fit. In every console theres always killer apps.

you just made my point-it wasnt one game that did it it was multiple games

Wii Sports was actually the one game that push the Wii through a year even most of the Wii games are crap and shovelwares. For a bundled game thats a accomplishment. But because of gamer's needs they want another killer app game came MK Wii and Wii Fit but more importantly MK Wii because its cheap but Ninty dont know how long will MK wii lasts so they need another killer app game. And as for SSBB and SMG, thats the killer app for core gamers. Thats why even those games arent mainstream they sure have legs.

But is the original Playstation succeeds well because of FFVII right?

Its like yeah, we're winning but here is the game that we can say we already dominate the war, just like what Final fantasy VII did with the PSX

Wrong. The original Playstation took off higher because of FFVII, no doubt, but it had countless higher quality titles that propelled it ahead--it had the Tekken series, Ridge Racer, Twisted Metal, and so forth. It came out before the N64 and was cheaper and easier to work with (for developers) than the Saturn and the N64. The original Playstation won for a variety of reasons. FFVII was just a contributor to that success--it didn't single-handedly make it.

A system needs more than one game to be successful. The N64 had Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Goldeneye007, the good Perfect Dark, and Super Mario 64 and still couldn't topple the Playstation.

Nights didn't save the Saturn, Shenmue didn't save the Dreamcast. Alien vs Predator and Tempest 2000 didn't save the Jaguar.

It took about a year and a half for developers and publishers to start churning out high-quality exclusives for the DS and they started jumping on board with that thing once they saw how popular it was. The same is true of the Wii, the devs and publishers came on board a bit late, but they're on board. The games they started when they signed on to the Wii in late 2006 and early 2007 will start showing up later this year and next year. There will be a plethora of titles flooding the Wii to aid it's success. What it needs is a few really solid, exclusive, 3rd party efforts to sell astronomically on the system for some of the more bitter hardcore gamers to take notice. Those are the hold-outs the Wii needs to snag.

But its FFVII that make the PSX make it on the top and dominate console war though, I mean, its FINAL FANTASY, its a Nintendo console game we knew how large impact that was to Nintendo and the market at that time.

I'm not saying that FFVII didn't have a major impact on the PS1 (I remember when it was the PSX), because it did. But it took a lot more than just that to sell the thing. If that's all it had, it would never have so thouroughly defeated the N64.  Nintendo still had Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and it didn't win with that.  Many people bought a PS1 before FFVII and many bought it after.  FFVII was no turning point or savior, just a major killer app.  I remember buying my PS1 for Tekken 3.  I never even owned FFVII.  One game does not make or break a system.  It never has.

So what games that push the Wii since its launch till the holidays even most games on the system are shovelwares and crap then? I'll just say what did I say to moseteto, its "Wii Sports" even bundled thats the killer app game that won Ninty in the console war so far. But we never knew how this killer app game will last thats why Ninty announced Wii Fit and MK Wii to make the Wii lasts longer but we knew this is temporary. Ninty needs one more game same effect to Wii Sports for Ninty to hold grip their domination, what game is it? We never knew thats why I created this topic...

Where do you get this theory that they only need "one more game" to maintain domination?  It doesn't make any sense.  What the Wii needs is Harddrive support ASAP from Nintendo and a whole bunch of more hardcore games that also get high sales, and most of these AAA high sales games need to be 3rd party.  Wii Sports was nothing more than a bundled tech demo that showed some of what the Wii can do--it took more than that to sell the Wii.  Nintendo, for once, also had a solid advertising campaign moving their system.  Wii Sports helped get people addicted to the Wii and Nintendo needs a lot more than Wii Sports and Wii Fit to maintain momentum.  And many of the games it needs need to come from 3rd party publishers and developers.

Nintendo really doesn't need another game like Wii Sports or Wii Fit since they already made those and now the peripherals are out and successful.  It's up to 3rd party companies to fill the voids on the console.  It needs more hardcore games to continue to move people, and hardcore gamers, to the Wii.  If you think they do need another Wii-series title to churn up the masses, you seem to be forgetting that Wii Music is still on it's way and Animal Crossing will no doubt snatch up a ton of hardcore, pop, and casual gamer support.  On top of this, there are the Kid Icarus, Kirby, Disaster, and Fatal Frame games also coming.  All Nintendo needs to do is keep up the solid advertising and ensure highest possible quality for all these games.  They don't necessarily need "another Wii Sports or Wii Fit," but hey, Wii Music is still coming...

They've almost certainly won it thanks to the Wiimote, and by extension Wii Sports, so I'll go with Wii Sports...

Not that your question makes sense though.

Do you think Wii Sports will last? Thats why I created this topic

It's been Wii Sports and it will always be Wii Sports. It's like a crack dealer giving out a free hit. Aside from that, I agree with what Resident_Hazard said above.

Wii Sports will easily last through the end of this year and possibly next year. If anything, I can see a new Wii bundle down the line where, perhaps, Wii Sports and Wii Fit or Wii Sports and Wii Play or Wii Music are bundled together for added impact to new Wii adopters.  Wii Sports is all Nintendo needs to be bundled with the Wii right now.  Changing that would be a bad idea.  Adding to it, a good idea.
