Nice to see a great game get a lot of sales. I think this one will sell 12m lt, more than any other game this gen. Not counting bundled games, of course.

What do you think,  is there a game that can compete with the sales of Halo 3? SMG is something 1.5m behind on sales, not likely that it will catch up since they launched roughly at the same time. Maybe GTA IV will outsell Halo 3?

Wii Sports beat it you failand why shouldn't bundles count?  Maybe cause it makes 360 trolls feel bad well then: Wiifit and MKwii will beat it. GT5 will beat it. Nice try though.

Wii Play sold 13.36 million. It was only bundled in japan I believe. So subtract 2.46m from that, and you still have the best selling game. This is without mentioning handheld games, and future games.

Blahblah, both of them are bundled in EU. Propably in NA/Japan too. Wii fit/Mkwii have like 3 millions to reach halo 3 sales so we will have to wait.. and wait... and wait. Maybe they will oversell halo 3, but I don't think so.

Wii Fit sells about a 100k a week I believe, and is only limited by demand. Wii Play like I said earlier was onlly bundled in japan. Subtract japan sales, and there you go.

Xbots have to make dupe threads to make their mediocre games seem any good, sad day and a new low for xbots.

Anyway, wii play comes with wiimote. A 5$ game which comes with a peripheral is a bundled one. Wii fan saying that it is not a bundle does not change that fact. :)

If a $10 game sell 13 million copies, and a $100 game sell 8 million copies, the $10 game is referred to as the 'best selling' of the 2, despite bringing in less revenue

Because Wii Play is only available with a Wiimote, the only way to think of it is as a $10 game only available if you buy a Wiimote

Halo 3 had a huge lead on SMG, which has been steadily diminishing thanks to the good ol Nintendo legs. SMG may overtake Halo 3 eventually
