Because this is the same Sony who was all to quick to crap all over Nintendo's strategies not too long ago and now they're praising it.

So just because he's not acting like a jackass and insulting his other competitors, he doesn't belong with Sony? What kind of logic is that. Part of Sony's problems have come from horrible PR. It's good to see the man show some tact. Sony needs businessmen right now, not engineers.

hes not the pr department if he was worth a damn he would have fired all of them, same with marketing but i dont see him doing that. he soes haev the power to do so doe she not.
All i see from his comments is someone just covering his own ass.
He's not covering his own arse, he's laying the boot into someone who he thought was a 'renegade' and who he was probably responsible for sacking.

So he should just sit back and say "Well, only selling 3.5 million consoles isn't so bad."
You're probably just mad because you bought your PS3 for $600, and now its gonna be $450 in october.
Is it too much to assume that Sony somehow, somewhere possibly heard that they had "image" issues as a corporation and this is an attempt to fix that? I don't know, just a theory.
Oh and... Nintendo gets mocked for whatever they do, Sony gets mocked for whatever they, Microsoft gets mocked for whatever they do. don't try and act like this an out of the blue phenomenon, I mean... are you new here or something?
