Forums - Gaming - Do you listen to Podcasts?

I started listening to gaming podcasts a couple months ago.

I started with the Wii-k In Review on IGN now I listen to

  • Game Scoop
  • Nintendo Voice Chat
  • Podcast Beyond.
  • Nintendo Word Report (Just started this week)

What do you listen to? Are there any you reccomend? Do you like any of the ones I mentioned? If not why?

I really liked the Nintendo Podcasts but Matt and Bozon started getting me annoyed since I hardly agree with thier opinions anymore. I think Game Scoop  is the best.

Ok so heres the reccomended list so far

hell I make them

Seriously? You think I can get a link to one of yours?

giant bombcast at giantbomb.com with ex-gamespot employee's Jeff, Ryan, Vince and Brad.

It's absolutely awesome and really chilled out usually beginning with a taste session of some beverages and then going into the word of video games!

I recommend it

Thank I'll check it out

nope, i wait for the summaries

You mean the summarys that are posted on VGChartz?

I love Podcast Beyond. I've actually liked Nintendo Voice Chat more lately, so perhaps that says a lot about our tastes there...actually, I'm a few weeks behind, so maybe not.

I basically listen to every IGN podcast (which might be becoming too much). Three Red Lights is good. I don't own a 360 but they often talk about multiplatform games, and I like hearing about the others anyway. Find the episode that Don King was on. Before that one, they joked about trying to be the worst podcast, but now they have a mission to save the world. It was hilarious.

1up.com probably has the best podcast: 1up Yours. I also like GFW Radio (now defunct magazine but they haven't changed the podcast name yet...also, they don't just talk about PC games), Sports Anomaly, and EGM Live. Their Retro podcast is good, but that's usually every 2 weeks instead of weekly. If you play WoW, you might like Legendary Thread. It's supposed to be about MMOs but it's usually about WoW.

Finally, the best videocast about games is the 1up Show, Just go to 1up.com and you'll see links across the top for podcasts and 1up show.

where are summaries posted, because I never see comprehensive ones, and you can't hear a person's tone or the full conversation. Often you only get any announcements from summaries.
