RROD was already charged last fiscal year, to the tune of US$1.06 Billion.
If anything, if RROD is not as prevalent then EDD (games) division profit should actually increase.
FOR EXAMPLE, in the next 3 years, if TOTAL RROD costs = 800 Million, then 206 Million (Total of 1.06Billion) will somehow reflect back in the financial statements over that period to "balance" the statements. (To put it simply in non-accounting terms).
On the flip side, if TOTAL RROD costs = 1.5Billion, then that excess of 494 Million will be reflected on those financial statements as well.
For now, I think it is safe to say that they don't have to account anything "material" to the financial statements regarding RROD.
