I recommend Fire Emblem - Radiant Dawn. The story is fairly decent, and the gameplay can be difficult at times. One of the best overlooked games on the Wii. Just keep in mind that it's a turn-based strategy game.

@FreeTalkLive. Well XD.. it doesen't touch Tekken in my oppinion(no fighter does) :p but it seems like a pretty decent fighter so far :)

 

@blink182. hehe XD ill have to have a look at some of those games.. i heard pretty good things about no more heroes :p

 

@supermario128. lol.. btw i think that mario was awesome when in that outfit in supermario bros 3. Just a shame they seem to have cut out luigi in mario games afterwards. (not taking luigis mansion into concideration)

Okay. My first impressions are, (having only tried smash bros brawl and only for half an hour) it seems decent. So far nothing more nothing less. But ill have to get properly into it tomorrow or (when i have time) something and give it a proper go!

I don't like the cutscene work, seems too much ps2. Graphics are alright and audio the same. I like that it seems that all the creatures has their old attributes. I can see it being a really good party game aswell.

For the machine itself its pretty fast, in and out of games. It's about as quiet as the ps3 (meaning i didn't notice any noise it might make) and that's a good thing also. I'm not gonna take it for too much of a spin today, but i'm deffo gonna look into what it has to offer in the concurrent days. Expect me to be back with more impressions then :)

 

Overall i think ill be glad with my new purchase!.. It's very exciting to have a brand new console :P

Any good (a)rpgs out ? or hack n slash games ? Ever since that diablo announcement i've been wanting to play something similar to it... might pick up resident evil aswell.. humm..

If you're a graphics whore who likes story-based games, you HAVE to buy Metroid Prime 3. It looks gorgeus, has fantastic gameplay, and technically, has a story.

Also, if you haven't played it yet, get Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition. It's only 30 bucks and it's one of the best games out there.

I'd also in general recommend Zelda Twilight Princess and Okami (they're the same genre), Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii and Boom Blox. If you like football, buy PES 2008 for Wii. It's also amazing.

At last, buy Zack and Wiki if you're into puzzle games.

I think I named all excellent Wii games now, don't let the other users fool you with their crappy games.

Hey Guys !.. I've been playing on it with my cusin for a few days and i've gotta admit... Damn the games are fun!
Now ofcourse not all of them. But really. The boxing game especially, and smash bros is much better than what my first impression implied. .. ofcourse it doesen't touch tekken but i am a loyal tekken fan since tekken 2 (i have all tekken) but it's still a very fun fighter :P

I've noticed the machine is a little noisy compaired to the ps3 though. You don't notice it ingame but when in the menu or at silent parts.. I find this funny concidering the hardware it packs. Then again my pc is even louder but that doesen't make it better either.

I'd say that after playing it with someone i'm impressed. I easily think i can have a lot of good times on the system as long as i can find friends and other people to play it with. It is really a "party machine"

Also, are there any similar games to the boxing one ? i mean, intense games where you have to get up and move around. Prefered multiplayer game :p ?
