Well, after 18 months of extremely good sales, it doesn´t take even half a brain to figure out this thing isn´t a 'fad'.
But it´s interesting that all of these analysts are agreeing the PS3 will indeed be number 2 WW.

So leo-j you still believe the Wii will start making negative sales for your sales predictions to come true? Where are those 40 000 Wii sales per week in the US going to hit?

That has never been more fitting... *sigh*
Wii is not a fad, why isn't this news flash posted all over the internet, oh yeah most of us figured this out a year ago.
Also the analysts are saying one of 2 things:
1- 3rd party game publishers are vastly inferior to Nintendo
or
2- Sony and Microsoft are vastly inferior game publishers than Nintendo
Since I don't think Nintendo is leaps and bounds ahead of Sony 1st party titles (in terms of quality), this analyst needs to think about what he is saying.

Oh. I wonder what those 11 countries are. I would have though that Sweden would make the top 10, but that's impossible since Swedish revenue from game software is 2.3 billion Swedish crowns (if I remember correctly) which equals rufly $0.38 billion. Add HW to that and it's rufly $0.6 billion only. Not even close to $1 billion.

I think Canada would be number 4 on the list. Video games are as strong there as UK and USA unlike Germany and France. It's just the population difference that puts Canada under. Your guesses seem good. I think Mexico would be number 11 but I'm not sure.
