I expected this, really I thought it would come out in fall or winter of 2009. But May isn't have bad.

There is still a wealth of horror games that can tide me over till this big giant horror game Resident Evil 5 releases :)

Doesn't look that much like a horror game to tell the truth... Unless you consider RE4 a horror game of course.

Well it reminds me of a horror game. Considering the setting and how he is the only person that hasn't caught what those people got in those videos.

So its more like a survival horror game.

Dead Rising kinda....

Wasn't it suppose to be Q1 2009 as the latest? The Capcom quarterly/Fiscal report for investors said it was going to be out by Q1 2009.

What's the history about RE-games, do they ever have WW simultaneous releases or the Japs always get them first?

 

"Just recently"? I remember it being slated for 2009 even 6 months ago.

The theme is certainly horror-style, but the gameplay itself just seems like another 3rd person shooter... It will still give you a few scares, but then again so did some FPS games.

Your right, it reminds me alot like via Gears of War and Resident Evil 4. Just the simple fact once you make a 360 degree spin or a 180 degree spin, you will see a zombie of some sort right in front of you.

It gave me the goosebumps watching the recent trailer that was released. I was like this game is crazy and considering the setting and how they are out at day time is rather scary-er.

I'm playing Doom 3 from the original Xbox on the Xbox 360. That game gives me the freaking chills a lot.

FPS do it alot and I see that Resident Evil 5 will be scary in a way too.

Whatever, there will be a lot GREAT games in 2008, to care about RE5. =)
Of`course, there not much good survival horrors released in past time, but maybe Siren remake will be a good one. =)

But still too much good games for 2008. =]
