Well, right now the plan is that I'm going to give them $100 a month in general starting next month (when I get a job) for Payments, insurance, ect. and they will pay for gas, payments, insurance, ect. for a while.

They did insist on getting me a truck though... but I actually get 14 city/19 highway MPG, which is better mileage than theirs.

Well damn, what do they drive that makes theirs worse?!

Well, my dad's truck is almost the same as mine but it's a different color and has 4WD (heavier, so slightly worse MPG) among a few other features.

My mom Drives an EXCURSION. It's a HUGE Gas hog. It used to get 12 city MPG and 15 Highway MPG

but now (according to the little LCD readout) it gets 7 City MPG and 12 Highway MPG (because of it being old, and the mileage went down after we got it repaired)

So I take it your parents subscribe to the kill everyone else on the road so long as I stay safe method of driving? I don't care if people drive trucks, I just hope you drive it and be extra carefull of all the people you could injure very easily. I've run across too many people who drive carelessly just because they have a big truck (especially H2 drivers).

Anyways, cool ride and enjoy it while you can, cause that $100/month deal is a steal. 14/19 MPG would cost me ~$50/wk so I would be coming in at ~$230/month just to pay for Gas and Insurance. Then throw in Oil, Brakes, Tires, and other general maintenance and you'll realize how cheap that $100/month is.

Heh, this is a very weird thing indeed. My parents want me to "be safe", because most of the "vehicles" in my area are trucks, so they got me a truck. But rest assured, I am not a reckless driver. If anything, I'm overly-cautious.

Also, just for the record, in my area, all of the reckless, "I'm better than you" drivers in my area have Lexus's, Meredeces's, or some similar expensive small car.

But yeah, I know the $100/month deal is really nice. I already appreciate it and  have thanked them a lot. I'm going to try and find a job soon though, cuz I need to make that money if I'm going to keep it.

Is this a real car? I mean it can run over 100Mph rite?

No, It's a real one. It goes past 100 Mph. I live in the US. Here, when we say trucks, wee mean Pickup Trucks:
