Uhm I think I know what you're trying to say but your wording is kind of bad. Is this what you mean?

The longer people own a console the more games they own and the higher their personal attach ratio is. As the average length of ownership increases for the console so to will the average of all personal attach ratios (ie the overall attach ratio for the console).

edit: Again this is good through March '08 only.

Is wii sports included with the wii?

Data seems

Although I counted Call of Duty 2 as a 360 exclusive it's old with COD3 and COD4 already out on the market and you could play the PS2 game on the PS3 if you wanted.

Conclusion: The PS3 has just as many top games as the 360 has, despite the 360's one year headstart. IMO 360 fans claiming the PS3 has no games should be left ignored.

Wait, what?

PS2 CoD2 Big Red One, has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Call of Duty 2 for PC/360 which is the BEST WWII shooter ever seen the light of day.

OK, I didn't know it's a very different game. I never owned a COD game, so I was right to count it as a semi-exclusive.

That's not relevant to this graph, it's about how long people owned their consoles. The PS3 scores lower than the Wii mainly due to the PS3 launching later in Europe than the Wii.

On topic.
It is silly for someone to say that STILL PS3 has no games. It has, but it is a matter of taste. And my taste leans clearly at the 360 side. 100%
But, there are some undeniable facts.
The 1,5 year headstart is fake. Europe never really bothered (except England) for the 360 launch, so the 1st holiday was almost non existent for 360. Still the supply issues (you remember them, don't you) cost MS nearly six months. I remember the irony in OXM charts "the game is brilliant, go and get it, IF you can find a 360 to play it" And this sarcasm is on June 2006 issue!
There are plenty of PS3 games in this least, that were solutions of desperation and lack of games. And you know that.
And as for attach rate, I wonder, most of the times you are pretty well informed. Don't you know that attach rate falls as the hardware numbers go up (and piracy too)?

No it's not, but I agree there may have been supply constraints probably due to the overflow of RRoD issues (requiring replacement consoles). But that does not change the fact that there are Europeans who owned their 360 16-17 months before the PS3 launched in their region.

Meanwhile everyone who couldn't get a 360 around launch had the chance to get one. European retailers have been overstocked with 360s for years.

Depends, if a console sells slowly it can actually go up if software sales keep the pace. Piracy does not affect already sold games, it has an impact on potential current and future game sales (just like some PS3 owners may mainly buy the console for Blu-Ray movies and additional media features, some may buy the 360 solely for pirating games like many/most gaming PCs).

As there's so much overlap between the 360 and PS3 games library, it will mainly come down to the exclusives which console will have the more appealing games library.

According to this recent poll the majority of people think the PS3 has the better 2008 software line-up (59% PS3, 19% 360 and 7% for the Wii):

It certainly has alot of exclusive games by all means, but its lacking in quality first party. Which is why many people say it has a lack of games.

Being a owner of all 3 consoles, there are BY FAR more games i want to play on the 360 then ps3. There are some good games on the ps3 but nothing as good as the 360 library. I doubt ill buy anything after MGS4 because i could spend my money on 360 games.

you cannot go by some sites very small poll at all.

First, it does not respresent what a majority of both owners feel, it is a huge possiblity that more ps3 owners go to that site.

Do all the people who voted know of how many ps3 games have been pushed back to 09? I mean hell in 2007 it was a huge constant ps3 will own in 2008 with killzone 2, resistance 2, ff 13, little big planet, etc but half of the titles have been pushed to 2009.

For me it's the other way around. Only Kameo really and at some point in the past Bioshock and Mass Effect I thought. Mass Effect however isn't as good as I thought it would be, even if they fix its technical issues in comparison to the 360 version. Bioshock I even signed a PS3 petition for, but those stupid devs/publishers said it wasn't going to happen afterwards, so as the rumours of Bioshock 2 for the PS3 appeared I watched all the cutscenes / story progress, much of the gameplay and endings on youtube to determine if Bioshock 2 would really be worth it. One less sale for them...
