No SRPG and especially no Final Fantasy I hate the series.
Brave story look really interesting I heard about it a long time ago but forgot. So does Radian Mythology I got it mixed up with an above post of Tales of Eternia
KH BBS and the Star Ocean games arent out yet.

Fire Emblem is the best SRPG series. (IMO) Jeanne D'Arcs layout was too similiar to FF:TA and Luminous Arc. I liked FE becuase no ones copied it and Yggdra Union also took a different approach and was cool. Im getting it once the US PSP version comes out.

It was released in Europe and Australia I could just get an import.

Ive never played a Tales games though so I hope it lives up to the hype. If I like this on I might buy the one for the Wii.

I'd get Eternia as it is a real Tales game whereas RM is mostly fanservice (still good).
(Why do you have FF? You sound like a rebel kid who wants to be different just because)

it is not an stratagy rpg,it is an action rpg.....perfect game
Riveria remake on the PSP isn't bad.
What I played so far:
Jeanne d`Arc - mediocre on every aspect
Brave Story: New Traveler - generic turn based RPG. Not awful, but not good enough (bargain bin material)
Crisis Core - a big waste of time and money
Monster Kingdom Jewel Summoner - like Pokemon with not so cute monsters (also a 3 party system). Very easy and short IMO
Riviera: The Promissed Land - it is GBA port. It is more of a anime dating sim than a RPG IMO. Very weird battle system.
Tales of the World RM - Awful game, even for Tales fans. The gameplay is slower than all Tales I have played, the plot is generic and boring and you progress doing mindless fetch quests (kill 1/4/10 of said monster, get 1/3/5 of said item, deliver this item to this person).
The only one I can recommend is Breath of Fire 3. It is PSX port, but an amazing game. It got the turn based classic gameplay from 16 and 32 bit era.
