Considering Eternal Darkness is owned by Silicon Knights I don't think they'd be too happy with Retro making money off of their license.

This should be interesting. I can't believe it's been about 8 years since Nintendo formed Retro and this will be their first game that's NOT Metroid. So many cancelled projects. If I were to guess, it'll probably be a first-person shooter. I'd love to see what they could bring to the table, they're such a talented studio.

Well there were alot of rumors about it a long time ago just like kid icarus so it is more likely of being the zelda spin off than a new IP.

Not really.  Rumors don't mean to much, just like you said the rumors that kh3 going to the wii don't mean much. And I think the chance of them creating a new ip is much greater.

Hm, I'd like to see Raven Blade reborn on the Wii, as it was lost in the turbulence of the GameCube era.





Regardless of the title, I'm sure that good ol' Retro will do a fantastic job and once again prove that they're one of the best devs out there. Of course, this rumor will have to actually be true in the first place.
