Grand Theft Auto 4 has to be the worst game ever made....well not really,but it did suck.The worst game in the franchise.imo

I liked it. The only thing i didn't like was the 'social' aspect of the game. I will agree that taking a girl on a date gets very boring quickly... well that, and the fact that you cant drive tanks.

Seriously people look at Saints Row 2.  Don't give up hope for a fun sandbox game just cause Rockstar screwed everything up.  We also have Prototype and InFamous to look out for.  I think it's just time for new blood in the genre.

Grand Theft Auto may have seen a drop in fun, but do you really want to give your money to a company like THQ?!!

I've been majorly disappointed with it. It's getting more fun as I progress further, but it doesn't even come close to deserving all of the praise it has received. I've said it before and I'll say it again. You slap a different name on this game and people would be up in arms about all of its faults including the controls which for some reason still aren't up to snuff. As it stands, the GTA name is on it so the lemmings all jump off the cliff and hail it as one of the greatest games ever made. Don't even get me started on how terrible the multiplayer is.

well i didnt like the driving in it,but the story was good

Hey, THQ has been making some good games recently.  deBlob, Deadly Creatures, SupCom, Company of Heroes, Dawn of War, Worms: Open Warfare 2, Viva Pinata DS, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.... I'm actually starting to *gulp* like THQ.

Let's not forget Crackdown, either.  Despite the game preceding GTAIV by more than a year, I found it to be far more enjoyable than Rockstar's offering.
