Hey shio, I see about ten spell buttons in that GIF you just posted. Looks like they are borrowing a little from WoW. I did find that the two-button gameplay of 2 wore a little thin after a while.

It is an RPG. Even WRPGs are limited in actual roleplaying. Diablo is indeed an RPG....an action-RPG to be specific

 

 

Your assertions aren't enough to convince me. There's a vast difference between limited role playing and no roleplaying whatsoever. I let it slide for JRPGs because they at least tend to be story-driven, even if there's rarely any decision making on the part of the player.

The 'story' in Diablo 2 was more of an obstruction than an enhancement. STFU Deckard, I'm only talking to you because it's required before I go to the next zone. Oh, and identify this crap I picked up, will you chum? Stop raving you stupid boss, I have to burn through your mountain of health before you hit me three times in a row.

Diablo is a gameplay driven game, not story driven like JRPGs are

Is D2 available for DD? I can't find it if so. I'd heard Blizz put it up, but the only titles available for DD I see on their site are SC1 and WC3.

I creamed my pants with this announcement. I knew it!!!!!!

I don't care if my laptop can run it or not, whether it pay to play or not, I am 100% on board and if I need to buy a new PC, then so be it!!!

I can't wait for this game, its gonna be on battle.net, and satanic rpgs with demons is my favorite!!!! I remember playing the diablo 2 LOD expansion for hours on in the weekends, all day and all night, till it was literally 9 o'clock in the morning, then i'll go to sleep to wake up and do it all over again. Sadly, i only got to lvl 91 on my hammerdin, and my gear sucked to do runs in hell mode and pvp. The game was tons of fun though. Hopefully they'll take out the 8 player per game, and prevent glitching hackers that brought down the servers thanks to mass duping one fateful afternoon i still vividly remember. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WTF BLIZZARD FIX YOUR DAM SHIT" -summarizes how i felt that day. But DIABLO III IS OFFICIAL BEST RPG SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's definitely my least favorite of the 3 too, but "least favorite Blizzard franchise" is still really exciting!

machina, I suspec that the witch doctor is a little bit mage, little bit necromancer, little bit druid. so maybe another casting class that will take the minions of the necromancer and combine them with the cold spells of the mage and maybe lightning. then you have barbarian, paladin, and amazon (which will get some of the assassin skills maybe?). little bit heavy on fighting classes but they can add two mage classes in an expansion.

btw, is anyone else having trouble with this site sometimes not wanting to accept a space? Like imbetween sentences you can only have one space sometimes instead of two?

HOLY CRAP

I thought this game was just a rumor. Nothing official had ever been announced and now all of a sudden it explodes onto the net, shit hot.

Presentation looks fantastic as always. I love everything I have seen/heard so far, just what my new PC needs!
