it can't be the "best game of all times" to you, if you are a graphics whore, because in 2-3 years it will be graphically mediocre and in 4 years you'd barely be able to look at it again - so maybe it will be vour personal "best game up until now", but surely not "of all times"

By the end of this generation in 2011 we will have:
18.890.000 + (174 x 120.000) = 39.770.000 for XBOX360
12.610.000 + (174 x 170.000) = 42.190.000 for PS3
It's a ridiculous assumption to make. The storyline needs serious work for it to be anywhere near the best game ever made.
Gears of War 2 will probably be a really competent, if not great, third person shooter. If that, coupled with online play and badass attitude, is your cup of tea, it might actually become the greatest game ever made
To me the graphics look boring. The gameplay offers very little new, and I never play online anyway... In short, it fails to attract much of my attention.
The only thing Gears of War did for me was to introduce the now industry standard cover-system. THAT was a stroke of genius.

Oh and 60 player online, 8 player co-op, insane "insomniac" weapons, spider grenade interesting, More enemies, just mayhem to get the blood going!

hardcore online 360 players are playing CoD4 and Halo 3, both of which are far better than Gears. Sorry.

A game called Kill Switch,for the PS2 invented the cover system.Gears of War made it cool.
I hate the Gears cover system. I consider it broken.
