by the looks of the preview it really looks like namco put alot of effort and thought into this. I'm glad, as ign stated, this isn't just a rehash of the old game and brings alot of new elements into the game

Sounds really good, I look forward to holding down the B-button for a long while. This is the only creature collecting RPG I plan on playing ever.

Looking forwards to it. Haven't played the first one myself but am a huge RPG fan and don't have a 360 so I have to settle for what I get on the Wii.

ToS will be my first RPG on the Wii I'll be playing (Aside from LoZ of course)

Now I'll need to go out and see if I can find a copy of the gamecube one... Perhaps that's something I can do while I wait for this one.

I just noticed in their world map video that the theme was an orchestrated remix of one of Tales of Phantasia's world map themes. Entirely appropriate too since it's the same world.

They really know how to hit the fans with nostalgia.
